Boston Terriers can be described as friendly, bright, and assuming dogs who are categorized in the non-sporting group of dog breeds. Their most common colors include brindle, seal, or black, with white markings. Boston Terriers are a low shedding breed, yet they do shed very little throughout most of the year, the shedding does tend to increase once or twice per year as the seasons change. They are considered a small dog breed with a height ranging from 15 -17 inches and an average weight of 12-25 pounds for both genders. Their life expectancy is 11-13 years.
