Your new puppy is up to date on vaccinations at the time of shipping. He/she has also received a series of preventative deworming treatment. Depending on puppy’s age, he/she may need additional vaccinations. All vaccines and deworming treatment have been recorded on your puppy’s medical record. Please make sure you bring this medical record with you to first veterinarian appointment.
If your new puppy is a toy or small breed, please be aware that such breeds are prone to hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) usually caused by lack of proper nutrients and rest. Please make sure your new small breed puppy is receiving proper nourishment and rest, as Homebound Pups will not cover medical treatment for hypoglycemia.
Homebound Pups provides puppies solely for the purpose of a companion pet. I understand and agree that I am purchasing this puppy solely as a “pet quality” companion animal. Homebound Pups does not sell animals for showing, breeding, specific training, or any other purpose other than a companion animal. I understand that not all puppies, purebred or otherwise, come with registration papers. Homebound Pups is not responsible for providing registration paperwork for any puppies including purebreds. Registration is at the sole discretion of each breeder. I also understand and agree that Homebound Pups does not accept DNA testing as “proof of breed.” You purchase your puppy as is with the accompanying paperwork at the time of sale. All dogs are different and as stated in our warranty, we do not guarantee the size, shape, or form of any puppy once grown, and therefore there are no refunds for poor, unique, or different breed representations.
If you already own a pet, it is a good idea to make sure that he/she is up to date on all vaccines. Homebound Pups will not be responsible for the cost of any medical examination and/or treatment of any kind for other pets to which the new puppy may be exposed.
Should your puppy be diagnosed with a debilitating hereditary and/or congenital defect which adversely affects his/her quality of life within 12 months of delivery, you must present all documentation stating so, including invoices, x-rays where applicable, and a signed and dated letter from a licensed veterinarian explaining the diagnosis and treatment(s). Upon receipt of all appropriate and necessary documentation, you will receive reimbursement up to your purchase price of the puppy for qualifying paid medical &/or surgical treatments rendered. Reimbursement will not exceed the price paid for the puppy (exclude any shipping costs).
This written agreement is the entire agreement between the purchaser and Homebound Pups, Inc. concerning the health, condition, development, use, or loss of the animal purchased. The purchaser will not rely on any verbal statements contrary to this written agreement unless they are included in writing. This limited warranty is for the original purchaser only, and is not transferable.
*Reasonable veterinarian fees are costs incurred by the purchaser for the diagnosis and treatment of an infectious illness or congenital defect which was present at the time the puppy was received. Extraordinary costs will not be reimbursed. Homebound Pups’ veterinarians will determine extraordinary costs.
